My Sucket List

Most of you are probably familiar with the movie "Bucket List" with Robert de Niro and Morgan Freeman (by the way, one of my favorite actors), but for those who aren't, a bucket list is a list with things you like to do before you die.

Those of you who still are in contact with me, know that I miss everything so much all though I'm having much fun here. I'm not this kind of person who writes a list with things he want to do before he die, I think it's kind of dramatic 'cause everything in life counts and not only the 27 things you wrote down on a list.

Anyway you all know that the water level is rising here in Queensland, so I wrote a list with things I like to do when I get back to Switzerland (if I get back, Airport was closed this week..) and because somethings in Australia sucks we call this a "sucket list".

My Sucket List:

1. Taste spices on food and not only sauce. (especially Aromat)
2. Taste a really good old french dressing.
3. Go snowboarding.
4. Drive around in my car.
5. Tell my brothers what they should and what the shouldn't do.
6. Meet my friends on a cold sunny sunday just to walk around and talk nonsense.
7. Learn at least 5 more jokes about blondes.
8. Show my family how good I improved in kitchen.
9. Start thaiboxing again.
10. Do a lot of Urban Survival videos and post all of them on my blog.
11. Drive on the right way of a street.
12. Take a bath (everybody tells you you are not allowed to have a shower for more then 4 minutes, but that's not true).
13. Wait for the bus, which arrives ALWAYS on time.
14. Meet my friends at McClarens before going to the clubs.
15. Stop to use Skype.
16. Buy real cheese.
17. Eat handmade chocolate.
18. Go to the movie theaters  (I'm so not updated..).
19. To not have to ask people I just met, where they're from.
20. Box with my little cousins even when I know, they're going to beat me.
21. Get my mates away from they're girlfriends (no I'm kidding, they should just stop watching grey's anatomy with 'em).
22. Go ice skating even when I fall always down.
23. Stop to learn Portuguese.
24. Not have to wait ages when I stop at a traffic light.
25. Sleep in my bed and wake up in my mess of a room =)
26. Read real newspaper and not only the online version.
27. Find the one.

I think more or less that's it.
Don't get this in a wrong way, I like Gold Coast but I miss those things so much and my family and my friends and and and.

Cheers

The Big Bang Theory

I think most of you know the serial: "The Big Bang Theory".
Today I felt like one of these Nerds (Sheldon & Lenard).

My homework for today was to prepare a presentation about a future aspect.
So we went in pairs. My mate choose the subject: "new discoveries". This is not too bad I thought..

But this guy knew already what he will talk about, he wanted to talk about how to fold the universe to make teleportation possible. Is it necessary to say that this guy is an mekatronik engineer? (whatever this contains)

So because I'm Swiss, he thought I should explain the CERN Collider (If you don't know what it is, you better have listened to my presentation).
And he wanted me to explain the universe.. (do I look like somebody he knows this) and he wanted to explain the 4 dimensions and how to fold the entire universe..

Anyway I did a lot, a lot of research and then I explained the CERN and how they impact Protons together, how they search the Higgs-particle and what it means when we find it and then I explained the theory of relativity of Alexander Friedmann who proved that the universe is expanding and it not a space in form of a box or of a ball. He said the universe is a flat like a sheet.

So when Rob asked me what a particle is I was like.. omg.. omg .. omg. Lucky me I had somebody with me who could explain.
But Rob wanted to trap me as he asked me about the costs and who is a member of this conceal. These stuff I knew and I think he was kind of impressed even tough most of Swiss know this because it's always in our local newspaper.

The conditions of the presentation were to speak for 5 minutes but how could you explain quantum physics in 5 minutes?! So we were speaking for 34 minutes.. and then we discussed every point again in class, that was such a nice day. All day long talking about stuff nobody has an idea of .

I wish we could do this more often =)

Contemplating

I might have told you about my teacher Mark, the funny teacher who always repeats his self.
He likes me I think, maybe because I'm the only one who laughs at his jokes..
so what? I always try to get advantages from neurolinguistic (like this word, means affect the appearance somebody has on you by acts or sounds you do).

anyway he recommended me to move into a higher course and here I am.
today was my first day in the advanced class. The class is called CAE Flexi.
Which means it's kind of flexible preparation course for the Cambridge CAE Test. This word flexible means this = it's called CAE but we prepare with PCE (Proficiency) exercises. I just say this: OMG! this stuff is so complicated. In the reading part he asked us to highlight the words we don't know, after the first paragraph I thought, well.. if he wanna have a rainbow paper why not..

But there was one word nobody knew and I did. It's: "Contemplating" usually you don't learn this word because it's a synonym for advanced british speaking. I caught  it up when I was in Canada 2 Years ago. It means this: "Think about".

to contemplate (infinitive) contemplated (past participle)

Use this in your next essay and you will impress your teacher.

My new teacher Rob is a good one, he's british and he liked my t-shirt with the motive of Mohamed Ali (again neurolinguistic). The other students in my class are all high grade students like medical or law and some of them are even underaged.

Anyway I'm gonna have fun and if not I'm going to my last class 'cause I miss them.

Diagnose: Party

- sleepy
- unmotivated
- lost apetite
- feet ache
- Tinitus
- Herpes

These are the documented symptoms for a disease called "Partos Olvaro" or more common the "Over-Partied-Syndrom" (OPS). Unlikely I have all these indications except herpes (I swear!).

The Medical formula for OPS is simple:

(mP * lP +Sx) + Scl / RP = OPS

now the translation for those of you who are not experts in this subject:

(many Parties * late Parties + Sex) + School / regeneration Phase (sleeping) = OPS

In some case where no Herpes  is you can subtract Sex or add Pv, which means Preservative. Depends on the subject.

with simple words OPS means this - Shit happens!

I got OPS because from last Tuesday 'til Sunday i went out everyday although I had school next day. This sounds so bad but.. yes it is bad. Anyway I did always my homework and went to school on time, I was like usual. Here is my advice never sleep after party before going to school. Your body can't handle that because he is ready to regenerate and you interrupt this process. If you sleep before class make sure you sleep between 30 and 90 minutes this effects like a power nap, but make sure you get your lost sleep after school.

Anyway you need a lot of practice to do this, that's why I would like to thank army. It's the second time in Australia I see the advantages of military.

This week I'll do the cure to fight off my OPS (doesn't mean to not go to parties anymore.. just less).

At this point I would really like to thank all my fans of which most of them are working while they read this post and get jealous. You really shouldn't be jealous, furthermore you should feel sorry for me.. like I do for you..

Cheers

398 minutes

Dear friends

I'm so sorry to tell you the following.

I bought one of those USB Modems witch which you're able to go in internet from wherever you want to. Despite it costs a fortune I took it. Because I want you guys to see my funny movies.

Anyway i tried to upload it and guess what. I takes 398 minutes for a clip which is almost 1 minute long..

If I would invest these 398 minutes i wouldn't have any capacity left on my usb modem, because it's prepaid.

I will do my best to find another option how to do this. If not, you have to wait until I'm back in switzerland..

and until then I will give my best to keep this blog as interesting as possible.

cheers

I'm French

Hello Partypeople

This week the cambridge courses started in my school like FCE and CAE, that means loads of new students! to precise that there are about 150 fresh (wo)men. To precise that.. more then 90 people from switzerland. There is no more english in school it's just german and I'm not here to improve my german..

It's not only in school but also during free time. Tuesday while I was getting some food I heared 2 diffrent groups, in the store, speaking german. This is so bad because I was making better and better now this.

Don't get this in a wrong way I'm happy about new faces espally because I already now some of them and more people, means more friends, means more fun (basic maths)

Oh I didn't tell you.. I canceled my homestay. They were great but just too far, so I'm living now with 4 Brazilian containing 3 girls and 1 guy. They're so fun and I like them and the best my place is 2 minutes from school and 50 meters from beach sooo central. In the same building there are living other students too so before going to parties you can just change the level for warm up party.

anyway I did this too to have to speak english, but now..

I couldn't handle this because I spent lot of money I hardly worked for to come here. That's why I told everybody I'm from France.

Swiss people from german part are so affraid of french, they learn it in school for at least 4 years but they're not able to speak in french. Now I'm not that good in french espacially when I write, but when I speak there are, rare, but there are people how might think it's my first language, so they keep distance or speak english.

Isn't it a great Idea?
..
It isn't! because there are not only german speaking people in switzerland.. but also french speaking and out of these 90 swiss there are about 30 french speakers.. so guess.. I'm improving french..

cheers

Why I was.. absent

Make yourself comfortable for the story I'm going to tell you. It will be quite long but I try to keep it as short as possible.

Before I start, make sure you went to the toilette.. I'll wait..
..
ready?
..
OK.
I went to Fraser Island!

For those who don't know. Fraser Island is an island.. true story
It locates about 300 km in north direction from my place. It's known for the beautiful nature and the Dingoes. A Dingo is a wild dog living only in Australia and most of them live on Fraser.

On xmas we got vacation until 4th of January so I decided to go somewhere. For me as a tough wild guy it sounded great to go on a wild island camping outside and stuff.

So me and some other swiss guys decided to go. Mistake!

Have you guys ever seen the movie FInal destination. In my situation it was the same. we had some signs that we shouldn't go, but we went..

1. Sign: Forecast
Somedays before I checked the Forecast and it supposed to be rainy.. the whole time..

2. Sign: Waiting
As we went to book in the backpackers agency there were some other guys before us, so we had to wait. She said she will only take 10 minutes then it's our turn. we waited in front of the agency for 80 minutes..

3. Sign: Bus
When we booked all she said how much would cost the bus.. 140 dollars each this is too much.

4. Sign: Hire a car
We decided to hire a car. The first agency we went to wanted almost 800 bucks for 5 days.. that was way too much.

5. Sign: no cars left
The 3 other agencies had no more cars left because everybody booked to go somewhere else on new year. Finally we found one for half of the prices of the first one.

6. Sign: manual car
We didn't check what kind of car it was. It was a manual one.. normally no problem but in australia everything is changed so the drivers place is on the opposite site.

7. Sign: Traffic Light
For me it was the most important sign to go back. As we arrived at the first traffic light in surfers it was red.. and it stayed red.. and stayed.. and didn't change.. even when all other cars passed 3 times our light didn't change.

8. Sign: Accident
When we finally were on the motorway seemed everything alright 150 km further there was big crash on the lane so there was no more movement.. we were there for about an hour meanwhile 2 firefight cars and 2 ambulances passed.

9. Sign: Turn
Finally we started to move, slowly, so we thought great we will arrive on time. but the crashed cars were still on the street we just had to turn on the motorway to go back

10. Sign: Off road
We had to take another way to get after the crash and this way went through a national park and the speed was 7 km/h because of all the cars.. after 2 hours in desert we arrived on the motorway just 50 meters after the crash and the cars weren't there anymore..

11. Sign: flooded
As we arrived in Rainbow beach, the town before getting to Fraser, it started to rain so much that the streets were flooded.

..
At this moment we're doing another pee-breake so if you have to go to toilette you can go now
..

You see there were 11 Signs not to go but we didn't care.
1st day was cool we went with a own 4 wheel drive car to the island and through the rainforest. We arrived at  Lake Mackenzie and because it didn't rain so much we went for a swim. The water was so clear I have never seen this before and the sand was so fine, they told us you can use it as a peeling and we did. We have even seen a baby Turtle soooo cute!
But then it started to rain and I mean really rain. Even before we started with the tents.

I don't care of rain because I got used to it in army so I prepared with some other tough guys while the girls and pussies stayed in the cars.
From this moment on it didn't stop..

In this night we have seen a dingo only one. We have seen other dingoes while our stay but my opinion is, it was always the same. I think there is just 1 dingo on Fraser for the tourists.
We have seen frogs too and insects as big as frogs.

2nd Day it didn't stop raining for the whole day! We were driving around went to Indiana Heads a Viewpoint have seen red canyons and the wreck but I think these spots would look better on a sunny day.

3rd Day started like the others with rain. But I was still full of motivation while others were so down that they paid to spent the night in a hostel and not outside. I felt good I even made pancakes =)

When we came back to Rainbow Beach they told us we couldn't leave for at least 3 days because all the streets out of Rainbow Beach (actually there is only one) have been flooded. From this moment on we crossed out the bow and called it instead Rain Beach. After a shower we tried anyway to get off and we finally had luck because we were the last car leaving Rain Beach because in this situation the water level was a little lower.

Finally we arrived at Surfers Paradise and we had the best weather ever! I love showers and washing machines =)

If I could decide to go again, I would! It was great even though the rain! =)

That's one part of the story, There happened a lot of things on Fraser before and after but it will become too long and some things should stay a secret ;)

Cheers
