The legend of the 5 Rings

Awesomeness of awesome!
No I'm not talking about me (not only)  I'm talking about yesterday.
Yesterday I went to come back into a fighters mentality.
What does this mean?
Good question!
I'm sure you know this kind of old school, chinese, martial arts, flying around, weird named, kick ass movies, where the silent warrior make his pilgrimage to the mountain of Hayabusa to meditate under the waterfall of Yokohari for not less than 4 months without eating or sleeping of course and after that he comes back to the valley of Horinaka and beats the 1000 soldiers of the evil emperor Kim Park Lee IV to rescue his beloved princess Fergie (I couldn't find a better name).

That's exactly what I did yesterday.. except of the part.. you know which part..

Yesterday I really went to the Muay Thai training. Some of you might know that I did regularly (/excessive)  Muay Thai before Army and because I want to start again when I go back, I thought, hey why not to start on my fitness here?!

So I went with Jack (my Thai mate who does Muay Thai as well) to the Kick-Ass club which is called 5 Rings Dojo (pretty impressive isn't it).

Training was exhausting but not that hard as I thought. What really gave me the rest was the first exercise: Clinching.
I did no clinching practice for the last 18 months maybe, so I was not used to it. Never in my whole life I had so much neck ache as now (actually I had.. yesterday) I couldn't even hold my head straight without my hands.
The rest of the training I tried to look as I was not impressed.

The trainer was a big guy from Russia, Arslan was his name. If I were a woman this would be the most perfect body I could imagine.. I know it sounds a bit gay but hey, you didn't see it,, even I got jealous (and nooo, ladies I wont tell you where the dojo is).
anyway after training I did some stretching I like it when everybody watches me how flexible I am and I did some punching bag just to show them that I'm not done yet.
I think Arslan liked me, because I always bowed when he told me something and he saw my tattoo.. When he asked me if I'm moslem (which I am), I thought he's going to kick me out 'cause most of Russians are orthodox and they don't like us, anyway I said yes and guess what he told me he's moslem too. I couldn't believe it until I've seen him praying after training.

So when I wanted to leave with Jack, Arslan asked us if we need a lift home and then he asked me If i can drive. Without thinking I said yes and gave me a key of a new jeep (very cool car) and just said follow my car which was a black Audi Q7..

ABT_AS7__Front_mattschwarz_kl.jpg
at this point I would like to take a break to repeat it an Audi Q7..
Which is my favorite car! No it's not a ferrari or mercedes or crab it's the Audi Q7.
It was the first Audi Q7 which I've seen in Australia I didn't even know Aussies know this car. So I got into the jeep on the right side I was pretty nervous because it was the first time I've ever driven on the right side but that left me cold 'cause I drove like a native driver. The Car was pretty cool and fast! So I followed him in his Audi Q7 to the building where he lives. He said get into the other car I'm gonna park the jeep in the car park. So we entered the Audi Q7 in which the keys still stuck.

Please imagine this situation! You're in your favorite car ever a Hip Hop beat is coming out of a modified subwoofer and the key is plugged.. If I wasn't that conscientious I would have stolen it immediately. He came back and brought us in front of our building. I like this guy and his Audi Q7 by the way that was the 7th time I mentioned his car.

But now, everything hurts by neck is not doing better, I didn't even go out yesterday and that means something! I hope I'll do better soon to go again and beat his fighters up.

Cheers

Hurting Nipples

Oh my goodness, I just went through my old postings (and tried to not get sentimental) and discovered that I've never written something about surfing. People why didn't you tell me? I write so much in my blog (not too much, but anyway much) that I can forget the real stuff that matters.

I only tried to surf, because I miss snowboarding so much, so I thought, hey let's try. I didn't take any lesson 'cause I thought it's not gonna be that hard and in snowboarding I just went without knowing how to slowdown or stuff.

When you go to surf, make sure you use a big one for beginning of course you can use a short one, but it's much harder to stand on a short board.
The difference is that with long boards you are faster while paddling and because of the size you don't need to balance too much while trying to stand up.
Short boards are meant to be flexible on the waves you can turn immediately because they are light and sharp shaped.

The first 2 times a took a big one and then I thought lets try it with a short. It's such a difference.
Make sure you practice in little water how to catch a wave and stand up - not like me.

Before you go to surf you need a license from the federal traffic office.
You need to fill a form the questions were more or less these:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Surfing License Form:

1. Do you want a license for pleasure or business?

2. Have you ever been surfing without a license and been charged?

3. Are any heart disease  in your family history?

4. Can you swim?

5. How good can you swim?

6. Did you ever watch a surf movie (if Keanu Reeves played in this movie, then it doesn't count)?

7. Are you an Australian citizen?

8. If not, do you think you can become one when you have a surf license?

9. How many sharks you have to see until you consider to get out of the water?

10. Do you know that you can't impeach the federal traffic office if you die while surfing (theoretically)?

11. Do you have the figure to wear a wetsuit?

12. In other words, Do you think other surfer will consider you as a whale if the see you in the water?

13. Do you eat fish?

14. Do you want a license to commit suicide?

15. Do you own a microwave?

Please return the complete form to the federal traffic office unless you are female and answered the 11th question with yes, then just send a photo of you wearing a wetsuit or rashie.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pretty tough questions aren't they?
Your question now should be, what is a rashie?
Good question! A rashie is like a light wetsuits which looks like a t-shirt, looks pretty cool if you want to impress girl, true story!

I would highly recommend you a rashie because otherwise you nipples are going to hurt by the end of the day.
You always put wax on you board to have a better grip and when you lie on the board and scratch your chest against it, you will have whole of your front wounded.
I now the desire is big, but don't laugh it's really not funny.

Oh and something else, never go surfing with nipple piercing, biiiig mistake!

And if you thought I will tell you how to surf, keep hoping 'cause I don't know either, I only stay on the beach with a surfboard next to me because it looks cool.

cheers

The Beneficial Event

I think I don't need to tell you that there are floods in Brisbane because most of you already asked me if I'm still alive, so we just skip that part.

To help the victims of Brisbane who lost almost everything, my school organized a little event to collect money. So what kind of event would fit best to do this..
An event wich underaged students can attend as well.. which is fun and cheap.. likely  in the evening.. and where you can see a lot of skin.

Yes, I'm talking about a Pyjama Party slash Movie Marathon.
Yes I know what you might think now, this is not the type of party Ardi would go to and it really isn't but it's for a beneficial thing so I spent 10 bucks.

The main problem was, how is a pyjama defined?
Every staff told me just to wear something but it isn't like I go to sleep 'cause my pyjama it's just my underwear.

So I took a tanktop and my orange boxer shorts I got on Xmas on which it's written (F.B.I - Federal Body Inspector). That was funny and when I got there I was very surprised.
There were almost only girls there and all of them in Hot pants.. lucky me!

Despite of some technical defects it was a cool evening. There was pizza, popcorn, chocolate and soft drinks. The movie was called "the Blindside" I think it would be a pretty interesting movie if you haven't been interrupted every 2nd minute by some strange noises and weird questions but I really don't want to complain.. I didn't stay for the second Movie 'cause I've already seen it. But I took a lot of pics and I think I should organize one of those pyjama parties as well.

Today at graduation they told us, that 425 bucks has been collected.. not a big deal but at least there were some people who had the same opinion like me to try to help.

Some consequences I had to take, Since today I'm an official member of the schools library and guess what was the first movie I borrowed?!

Revolution

You might remember when I told you about Rebacca who gave me my first penalty?
Now I got the second or again the first.. whatever..

Just to remember you get a penalty for each time you speaK your own language, if you get the third one, you have to go home (like this would be a punishment..).

Anyway today I was speaking german to Nadja I think. When a hand grapped my arm and pulled me to the reception desk. Despite her age the teacherS grap was very strong and of course I didn't want to hurt her, so didn't defend my self..

She took me to Susie, who already gave me my 1st penalty so Susie knows me.. But she asked me: "Ardi, is this your first penalty?" I said yes!! (c'mon, what would you say in such a situation?!) and she asked me: "Are you sure?" I said no!! (I'm just too honest to ly and this has nothing to do with the fact that she could check this)

She said I've never been marked for a penalty so I got my 1st penalty again and I said I don't need the penalty paper 'cause I already know whats written on it. she laughed..

In classroom Leonie (another teacher) passed and I asked her if she could speak to Susie to not note my penalty, she said: "NO, but what I can do is giving you an advice, do not speak your own language."
That was the point were my acting me came up. So I said yes but I was speaking not my language 'cause I was speaking french (in fact I didn't, but that kept the discussion rolling) and because german is my language it's not  an offend of the school rules =)

Then of course everybody laughed but actually that was a good point, because Leonie and Jo went through the rules and really it's just written that you're not allowed to speak your language.
Lucky me I've been the first fighter of the Langports revolution.
But they gonna fix it by tomorrow and I'll keep my second penalty marked as first..

At least I tried..

Countdown Party

I just say this: Never ever again!

I told everybody to come at 9.00 to 9.30 pm to my place. I actually invited just a few people but then everybody knew it's going to be a party in my place so everyone asked me if they could come.

At 9.00 I got some messages about if my guests can bring other guests I said sure..
It was pretty cool lot of people most of them from school some who I didn't know, I didn't count them. I was just worried about the security.

Bruno came to me he said what a great party, I'm the first swiss who had more girls at a home party than boys and really there were 3 times more girls than boys.
Was very funny I didn't even had to think about buying stuff, thanks good I bought plastic cups.

But then it started.. Somebody told me the security is looking angry and we should keep this controlled, so I took everyone inside at kept the noise volume on an acceptable level.

I even did a little improvised speech, I said more or less:
"Thank you party people for coming to my place and joining my lil party, some of you might know that this is my countdown party 'cause today in one month I'm leaving" - "Ohhhhh" (sad faces everywhere) "But I really appreciate you came. The security seemed like he had no sex since months, so please stay quiet 'cause otherwise he'll get the police and they gonna stop the party, cheers"

But suddenly my flatmate came and told me the security wants to see me, so I went downstairs.
Then I found myself arguing with this guy, 'cause he said there were 32 people in my flat, I said it's not true and stuff. I really don't remember what he talked about but I know he became so angry 'cause he thought I'm pissing him off. He told me I'll have to leave the country (I really don't think this guy is intelligent..) he told me he's going to call the police he even showed me their number.. so what? I went back to my flat he was screaming something but I didn't listen.

And then everybody went to the Brazilian party.
Today I tried to clean up the mess in my flat but I think it has not ended yet. Bruno had to go to do the report at police station when I came back from party. Because he broke something he had to stay the whole night awake, but he said it wasn't him and today he need to talk with the management of the building. I think I'll have to talk with them too.

This fucking security, who never reached something in life 'cause has never been more than 4 times in primary school, interrupted my great party and I even asked him if we were to loud and he said no, so what the fuck is his problem?! I hope they won't charge me or something like this..

Anyway now I'm going to watch the 14 episode of the 6th season of How I met your Mom 'cause it finally came out  and then I'm going to sleep the time a lost and later to clean up everything.

So dear guests I hope you liked it because next time it will be in a isolated place, where we can party all night long.

Cheers

Checkpoint Bravo 2.0

Ladies and Gentleman please take a seat for the following..

Today..

is..

the..

18th of January!

Whaat the..? Is the wrong question!

How the..? would fit better!

Some of you might know, that today in a month I'm flying back to coldness.
Seems like yesterday when I arrived, shy and tired, at Gold Coast and 'til now 7 weeks has gone so fast. This reminds me on the song "Greenday - wake me up when september ends"
'Cause I feel like sleeping and the time to get up is coming closer and closer.

Even though I know I wrote yesterday that I miss everything in Great Swiss (This is my revenge for the embarrassing history lesson today Rob), I can't imagine not having Brazilians around, of course the number of Swiss would be the same but the mentality wont.

So I decided to come down under again one day. Who wants to join me? =P

This is the part where I get sentimental so please do not laugh..
Thank you..

(no seriously don't laugh guys..)

I would like to do the checkpoint review (If you don't know what this means no worry I just created it)

Let's call the beginning of my journey Checkpoint Alfa which is the Day I arrived, Bravo would be the middle and Charlie would be the end.
And because we already passed the middle we call it Bravo 2.0 (what a smart solution :P)

'Til Checkpoint Bravo 2.0 I:
arrived
got confused with the accent
have been introduced to my host fam. and host bros and sis
slept
went to school
went to Hardrock cafe
did homework
went to my first Aussie party
stayed home because of tiredness
went surfing
party
met people
bought a bike
got attacked by Wilson
got lost
got rained
had BBQ's
have xmas and nuyear
went to Fraser Island
moved to the city
went to Karaoke
had OPS
learned Portugese
went to many Homeparties
learned how to dance Brazilian style -> thx Lara =)
went to Wet'n'Wild
told everybody I was from France or Brazil (so funny when Swiss people tell you sth about Switzerland)

(please do not concern about my grammar I know I took the wrong tense but I'm too lazy to correct it)

Actually I did a lot more, but I didn't write it all down 'cause you guys need to know every aspect to understand all.

More interesting will be what I'm going to do.
..I won't tell you!

Just about tonight..

Because it's tuesday (Brazilian/Swiss party) and my last month so it's going to be my countdown party tonight.
Everybody is coming to my place even some teachers.
Will be so fun.

I'll keep you informed but now I need to go.

Cheers!

1'500

At this point I would like to thank everybody for joining my blog.

Today when I looked at the statistics I've seen that since I started my blog I had 1'500 visitors. In my opinion this is a great success 'cause I thought Im writing this stuff just for me and nobody has time to read my whole nonsense.

However I'll still try to keep this number of readers and on my second priority I would like to increase it. If you think a post is very interesting or boring, just let me know, so I can keep this way or change something, because it's all about you guys.

I'll be here for one more month so until then, I'd like to bring the number of readers up to 2'300 that should be reachable.

Once again thx guys for your loyalty and keep reading otherwise I would feel schizophrenic :P

Cheers
